Evil Spirit and Marionette "Your Chaos-tainted black skin nauseates me even as you just merely enter my sight," while passing by me, offensively spat out a really narrow-minded old woman. It seemed their desire to blame us had not decreased yet. It was ridiculous to argue with her, but it also vexed me to go away without any words, so I opened my mouth with a sigh. "'Emperor' hath already retracted his opinion that Chaos is a bad thing, knowest thou not?" "So what? Mercy from his Majesty will not change the fact that you, evil spirit, shouldn't live in our world. Go to Hell right now," as soon as she finished, she walked away far to rearward of me with age-defying fast steps. It was a daily occurrence for me to be picked a quarrel with like this just by walking around, since the Red world had merged into the Blue world.
Evil Spirit and Marionette
One thing that had changed after the two worlds were combined into one was that some of the inhabitants started to call Eliphas as ‘Emperor’ and his wife—a young lady named Ena—as ‘the Empress’ and worship this noble couple. The adherents of the divine pair still believed that Chaos was abominable; they were all hostile to those who had lived in Barian world (including me). It had been a long time since Eliphas and Ena admitted that they had been wrong in claiming that Chaos was abominable. However, the faithful refused to listen to the words of their beloved 'emperor and his wife', believing that we, the Barians, had instigated 'their Majesties' to change the world in a wrong way. Not knowing that their blind faith was troubling the royal couple, they kept striving to persecute us for the sake of 'their Majesties'. [We are not so naive as to give up our own rights for an unjustified slander, though.]
Eliphas and Ena had invited me to their castle in order to ask my view toward how to govern Astral world, so I was just heading there. They had been planning to visit my palace at first (because they would feel guilty, they said, having me walk through the city center where people who unabashedly spoke out against Barians were gathered, or waiting on the thrones despite they had asked me for a favor), however, I had no choice but to ignore their good intentions; it was obvious that the troublesome adherents would turn into a mob if the ‘Emperor and his wife’ were to come to the old Barian world.
Nevertheless, it seemed there were lots of people who had too much time on their hands in this world... like him. "You lowly lewd devil who seduces the Emperor and his wife, go back to the bloody displeasin' world!" "The merger of the two worlds was the will of the 'Emperor and his wife', as ye know. We did nothing but obeyed it."
The energetic young man and his friends were not intimidated by the sound argument and kept standing in my way. Although I was not in a hurry, I had not the time, even a moment, to deal with such silly persons like them, huh. 'Well, if I give them a little scare, move they out of my way?' I thought and sought words. Then, I walked up to him and grabbed his chin softly having an eye contact with him, smiling. "Or, ye are glorifying me for ye admit I’m so beautiful that I enchant not only women but also men by a single glance? Oh, what a great honor! Shall I 'share pleasure' with you tonight?" As I tweeted in a captivating voice, he started obviously shivering with fear and showed feeling an aversion to me. "N-no way! You pervert! Get the hell out of here! You idiot," spat out the central figure in a fright and shook off my hand. At almost the same time, the young adherents fled in all directions. 'Take not that threats so seriously 'cause I never ‘share pleasure’ with such tomfools like you,' said I in my mind, looking after their back.
"What is his Majesty's thought? I can't understand why his Majesty has welcomed those who had been under the rule of that unclean spirit to this sacred land.” "Why didn't the Empress stop the Emperor?” "I can never see what royal people are thinking to let these filthy people live in our society." "Has someone sent their Majesties bribes?" "I'm disappointed that, whether intrigue or bribery, the Emperor and his wife are being manipulated by vile ones."
Foolish ye, innocent couple. Your credibility had fallen to the ground 'cause ye had accepted us and our Chaos-tained world. Despite ye must have known the result before trying, and yet ye had admitted your mistake and reached out your hands to us.
After we all had revived by the Numeron Code’s work, Eliphas had said, "I cannot say it is thoroughly your fault that you harmed everything before—it should be also our fault. Not only you but we also need to expiate that." ...Eliphas, hadst thou meant, if thou and thy world's citizens had been wise'n'kind enough to tolerate Chaos, I wouldn't have caused a series of disasters involving Numeron Code?
Be not so arrogant, thou marionette! As long as there were Chaos in their hearts, even if no one had been expelled from the Blue world, a similar ambition could have sprouted —an evil spirit like me would have been born and caused calamities even if Astral world hadn't turned to eliminate Chaos at that time. It was definitely not a sin thou had to owe; I wouldn't let thee, an artificial life form, take away 'my entity'.
"... ye fools."
Their Blue castle was still too far to come into my sight.
The end.
